Learning to be better managers and stewards of our
cash, credit, investments, loans and debts.
If you’ve never heard of mint.com you may want to take a look! What is it? “A great free way to manage your money online.” And that it is.
Easy Setup
The first best thing about Mint is that it is incredibly easy to setup. Just register your cards and accounts and it will automatically track your expenses and income in a simple and easy to use budget, even categorizing your purchases for you. This is a great way to easily see where your money is going.
Easily Compare
Mint also automatically compares your budget results to the rest of your state or the nation. A great way to see where you might be over-spending and can try to save.
Instant Savings
Mint helps you find instant savings by analyzing your interest rates and making suggestions to improve your investments.
Safe and Secure
My first fear with the site was, “Is it secure?” I can personally verify that it is! The site began in 2007 and with review and recommendations from The New York Times, Money, and Good Morning America, you really can’t go wrong.
Always Improving
I can also testify that the site is continually being upgraded and improved to make money management even easier – something important to those of us who are always finding ways to save money and time.
Sure, you can set, track and achieve your goals with a regular spreadsheet, and if that works well for you, that’s great! But if you don’t like to take the time to enter data, and would rather spend your time analyzing where your money is going, then you really should give Mint a try.
