It is a good week to shop at RiteAid! Here’s the deal I got:
3 Kashi Cereal – 3 for $9
1 Thermacare – $3.99
1 NyQuil – $4.99
1 Snickers – $.88
Subtotal: $18.86
Coupons used:
(3) $2/1 Kashi product (printed from Recycle Bank*)
(1) $3.99 off Thermacare coupon from this week’s RiteAid insert (at store entrance)
(1) $4.00 off Sinex product in 2/27 P&G newspaper insert
Coupon Total: $13.99
Paid: $4.87
UPR Received (to use on my next visit):
$3.00 UPR for Kashi or Kellogg’s cereal
$0.88 UPR for Snickers
Final Cost: $0.99
*Note: You can still get the $2 coupon for Kashi from Recycle Bank, but it costs 100 points now. You can print this coupon twice, so even if you redeem only 1 coupon, you’ll get 2 $2 coupons to use, which means you will still only pay $2 for 3 boxes of cereal!
Out of Stock Hints & Tips
If your store is out of stock on any of the products, I have noticed a few things that might help you find them in stock:
1. Shop early in the morning, before 10am.
2. If you can’t get there on Sundays (the first day of the deals), shop on Tuesdays or Saturdays. Numerous stores have told me their delivery truck comes on Saturday or Tuesday, so that is when they restock their shelves. *Please note that if you shop on a Saturday, their signs may already be down so they can put the new week’s up, but the deal will still be good!
3. Ask the store manager if they have any more in stock. Usually they will only have what is on the shelves, but sometimes the just got a delivery and can go get it for you.
