This October I will be participating in the Frugal Photo Friday challenge with MoneySavingMom.com and Simply Rebekah. I will be sharing simple photos that demonstrate ways to save money.
It is time to start celebrating simple savings!
This week’s topic is Kids, Bath & Beauty. We do a lot of things to save on kids around here, but the photo I chose shows how we used items from the Lancaster Creative Reuse that we got for FREE to make a paper bag puppet! (By the way, Ephrata has a craft and reuse store along main street now too!)
We also love to use our current toys to come up with fun games, like this time when we used our legos for indoor bowling! Can you believe I saw a special indoor soft bowling set for kids for sale for over $15?! FREE legos at a yard sale is much more frugal and fun for us. 🙂
I’m really excited for next week when we get to share photos of food & fun! Stay tuned . . .

I love the idea of using toys for different games. What a great reminder to always be thinking outside of the box!
I can’t wait to see what you share next week!
