We often get caught up in the busy times of the Christmas season and never stop to enjoy it. For 25 days I am going to share 25 ideas of local holiday events and things to do with your family, that will help you create memories and celebrate the Christmas advent season — and all of them are local to Lancaster, Pennsylvania! Keep your eye out, because some will include giveaways!
15th Annual Holiday Celebration at Intercourse Village
This celebration is Friday, November 30 in Intercourse village. There will be a tree lighting ceremony, wagon rides, children’s treasures and shepherd walk, live nativity, music and extended shopping.

10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The Children’s Treasure Hunt at participating shops … beginning at The Best Western Hotel.
Events at the Pequea Valley Library (Children and Adult Activities):
4:30 p.m. :: Great Crafts for the Kids
5:00 p.m. :: Refreshments for all!
6:00 p.m. :: The beautiful tree lighting and the excitement of Santa’s arrival at Pequea Valley Public Library
6:30 p.m. :: A Special Performance by BRAVURA BRASS… Christmas Music for Kids.
5:30 pm – 7:30 pm :: An Interactive Live Nativity at Kitchen Kettle Village featuring live animals, costume actors, reading of the Biblical Christmas story every 1/2 hour, plus dress up and photo opportunities for adults and children.
New this year… A Gingerbread House Contest. The winners to be displayed in shops throughout the Village.
Donations of non-perishable foods to benefit a local food band will be accepted at local merchants.
