We often get caught up in the busy times of the Christmas season and never stop to enjoy it. For 25 days I am going to share 25 ideas of local holiday events and things to do with your family, that will help you create memories and celebrate the Christmas advent season — and all of them are local to Lancaster, Pennsylvania! Keep your eye out, because some will include giveaways!
Gift of Lights at Elizabeth Farms
Gift of Lights at Elizabeth Farms is the tree farm’s new Christmas light experience. Over 1 mile of drive-thru light display with hundreds of thousands of twinkling lights brings the yueltide season to life. Some 120,000 people are expected to experience the 2012 season by taking in the lights and enjoying the festivities.

Mon – Thurs – $15 per car
Fri, Sat, Sun – $20 per car

Other holiday attractions at Elizabeth Farms
After driving through the gorgeous light display, we invite you to browse our gift shop filled with Holiday accessories and local crafts. Select a fresh, pre-cut tree from our festive courtyard. Then visit our Christmas Fantasy Barn featuring Santa’s Workshop,The Bloomingdale’s Holiday Window Display and our Model Train Room.
You can also pick Out Your Tree The Old-Fashioned Way! Our Horse-Drawn Wagons, complete with Sleigh Bells, will guide you through the boundless fields of evergreens. Choose from thousands of trees as you roam the fields in search of your family’s perfect tree.
Then return to the barn to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate. You can also relax and enjoy delicious food at the Corn Crib Cafe.

Elizabeth Farms is located in historic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, just off the intersection of Routes 501 & 322 in Brickerville. Go 0.6 miles east on 322 and turn left onto Hopeland Road. Follow the signs to the farm.
