Central Market – Central Market is a historic farmer’s market located in downtown Lancaster. You will find things such as cookies, hams, cheese, fruits, candies, and baked goods. The market is open Year-Round Tuesdays and Fridays, 6:00am to 4:00pm and Saturdays, 6:00am to 2:00pm. Located at 23 N Market St, Lancaster, PA 17603.
Columbia Market House – Since 1869 this market has been providing market fresh foods to the community. The market house is open 9:00am to 6:00pm Thursday and Friday, Saturdays 9:00am to 2:00pm. The address is 308 Locust Street, Columbia, PA 17512.
Central Market House – This historic market was built in 1888 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. They feature fresh produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, and crafts. The market is open Tues, Thursday and Saturday 6:00am – 2:00pm and is located at 34 West Philadelphia Street, York, Pa 17401.
Bird In Hand Farmer’s Market – If you like to try samples, this is the best farmers market to visit! There are about 30 different vendors, and many of them offer samples for you to taste. We love taking our kids here! Be warned though, the building isn’t huge, so if you’re trying to navigate on a busy day with a stroller, it does get a little slow and chaotic. New Eastern Market – Is the only air-conditioned market in York county. They have lots of great Farm-Fresh produce, meats, cheeses, flowers, candy, and baked goods. Check out Bairs chicken for some great rotisserie chicken. The market is open Fridays 9am – 7pm. Located at 201 Memory lane, York, Pa 17402.
Lemon Street Market – Local, regional and world sourced food for your complete shopping experience. Great produce, grass-fed meats, pastured eggs, cheeses, bulk foods, healthy food to go, organics, gluten-free – raw, whole grains, personal care, green cleaners and more. Open daily: Mon-Fri from 7am to 7pm, Sat from 7am to 5pm, and Sun from 9am to 4pm. Located at 241 West Lemon Street, Lancaster, PA 17603.
New Holland Market – A community based market providing fresh vegetables, fruits, cheeses, honey and local crafts. Its mission is to bring local products to consumers at a convenient open air location. It is committed to provide local farmers, artisans, and craftsmans a forum for direct sale of there product. Open from 8am to 1pm every Saturday from May through September. Located at the corner of Main and South Roberts in New Holland.
Green Dragon – Shopping from over 400 local growers, merchants and craftsmen. Located on a thirty acre site in the heart of the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, the Green Dragon Market has grown to be one of the largest Farmers Markets in the area. With 7 large market buildings and many other smaller shops, the Green Dragon merchants offer everything from “soup to nuts”. Open every Friday from 9am to 9pm (8pm in Jan and Feb). Root’s Market – Home of the oldest single family-run country market in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. From its humble beginnings as a poultry auction in 1925, Root’s Market has evolved over the years to become a piece of Lancaster County heritage offering fresh food, family fun and a wide variety of items for sale. Every Tuesday, Root’s Market features its produce auction as well as fresh meats, deli, bakery items, flowers, handmade crafts, antiques, collectibles and household items from over 200 standholders. Marietta Market – A volunteer coalition seeking to lead western Lancaster County toward greater sustainability by providing a place for the sale of healthy local food and other quality goods, community education and entertainment. Marietta Market is open Sundays, 9 AM to 1 PM at Flanagan Park on the corner of Front and Pine Streets in Marietta. The season runs May through October.
The Saturday Market at Paradise – They are a family-friendly market with plenty of parking, easy highway access, with children and pets (on leashes) welcome. Strasburg Farmer’s Market – Our farmers market is a traditional open air, grass roots, producers and growers market. We are dedicated to bringing you the best that Lancaster County has to offer. Join us on Tuesdays from 4pm to 7pm (depending on light) and Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. Our season begins in May and runs through October.
Lititz Farmer’s Market – The market features a full variety of locally produced products sold by the farmers in a festive setting. Live music, children’s activities, Chef Demonstrations and a community interest table make the Market a family friendly way to spend a Saturday morning. The farmers bring fresh vegetables, fruits, baked goods, dairy, meats, eggs, jellies, flowers, plants and much more. Conveniently located on Water Street (1/2 block off of Main Street). Saturdays, May 21st – October 15th from 8:00am – 12:00pm.
Lacaster East Side Market – Created to increase access to affordable, fresh and local foods for Lancaster City residents, to stimulate economic activity by acting as a small business catalyst and to revitalize our neighborhoods by creating a sense of place within the Historic East Side of Lancaster. This is now held in Musser Park on Sundays.
Millersville Farmer Market – A seasonal farm to table market offering farm fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, whole foods, and environmentally friendly products to the community in an earth friendly, artisan environment. The Season is open May through October on Wednesdays from 4-8pm. Located at 163 West Frederick Street, Millersville, PA. Update 2015: This is permanently closed!

Thanks so much for this awesome list! I’m ashamed to say I’ve lived in this area for almost 4 years and have not yet been to Central Market! That will change soon, pinned!
