October 1: Enjoy 70-year-old cake and register to win a basket filled with fair trade goodies!
October 8: Snack on samples from the Simply in Season cookbook, eat anniversary cake and register to win exciting fair trade prizes.
October 22: Get insights into the process of creating as local artisans demonstrate their own craftsmanship, savor samples of Women’s Bean Project soups, and register to win fair trade prizes.
October 29: Be part of our Shop Global, HelpLocal food drive by bringing non-perishable foods which will be donated to the Ephrata Area Social Services. We’ll give you a coupon as thanks. Also register to win fair trade prizes.
Needed for the food drive: Cereals, pasta, rice, spaghetti sauce, canned vegetables, fruits and meats, pudding, soup, peanut butter, jelly, instant foods and “helpers” and paper products. PLEASE no glass containers or out of date foods.[/stextbox]

You’ll find one-of-a-kind artisan samples, oodles of mostly-samples jewelry, and some “last chance” items that you may have seen in previous sales. Kindly bring your own sturdy shopping bags. And bring all your kith and kin to enjoy the shopping adventure!
Girls Night Out
On Thursday, October 20th from 5-8pm women are invited to eat delicious supper in the Cafe, be pampered with hand massages, create a truly-yours necklace, join the circle for simple, lovely international folk dance (at 7:15pm), register for fair trade prizes, and learn or share fun scarf-tying techniques.
Please bring canned or boxed staple foods to share with Ephrata Area Social Services. No out-of-date foods, please. We’ll give you a coupon to spend, as our thanks for your donation.
The event is FREE* but we ask you to REGISTER so we can be ready for you.
*Supper is on your own in the Cafe. The rest of the event is cost-free.
