Did you know there are FREE summer movies for kids at many theaters? And if they are not free, they often offer very cheap and discounted morning showtimes. Here are the FREE and cheap summer movie options in and around Lancaster County.
- Kendig Square (Willow Street) has movies for just $3.00 during the day. After 4pm kids are still $3.00, adult movie tickets are $5.00. See their showtimes on Facebook. On Tuesdays at 10am they are featuring $1.00 movies this summer—first come first serve, doors open at 9:30am.
- Penn Cinema (Lititz) has kids summer movies for just $3.00 on Wednesday mornings at 10am. This summer they are showing The Wild Life, Storks, The Secret Life of Pets, Sing and more movies!
- RC Theaters (Reading) will show FREE summer movies including The Grinch, Smurfs, Peter Rabbit and How To Train Your Dragon Hidden World. All showings are at 10am. Park in the parking garage and it is a very short walk to the theater. Very easy to visit with kids.
- Regal Harrisburg Stadium 14 (Harrisburg) starts showing summer kids movies on June 13. This is part of Summer Movie Express and will show similar movies to the above locations, but some that I didn’t see playing at any other theaters!
- Ephrata Main (Ephrata) has movies for $9.00, all ages, all times.
- Hoopla Digital lets you watch 5 FREE movies a month on your home TV. You get FREE access through your Lancaster Libraries card.
- Lancaster Libraries offer many videos to borrow for FREE.
- Amazon Prime has thousands of kids videos and programs available. Try it out with a FREE 30-Day Amazon Prime Trial.
