Ten Thousand Villages is hosting their 23rd Annual International Children’s Festival on June 3, 2017 at their Eprhata store location along Route 272. The FREE event includes:
- crafts (some have a small fee)
- games
- food
- live music
- refugee experience
Kids and parents will learn about fair trade, and experience other cultures. Perfect for all ages, from 2 months to 92! Invite your friends and family to come with you! Parking is free.
They usually have a photo booth and then you can get your picture online . . . here is ours from a few years ago! Isn’t it crazy how time flies?!
WANNA HELP OUT AT THE FESTIVAL?
They are looking for friendly, fair trade loving folks to volunteer at the 23rd Children’s Festival. Is it you? It is a one day commitment (split shifts are available). From serving food to assisting children do a simple craft to applying henna to being a mascot.
Take a look at the various positions open and sign up quickly to work the booth you love best. This is a great volunteer opportunity for friends, mentor/mentees, youth groups, small groups, parent/child combo.
