Frysville Farms is another hidden gems in Lancaster County. For the people who know about Frysville Farms, they’ve been going there for years and love it! For those who haven’t heard of it, when they walk in to their store, they are surprised and excited to make it a new yearly family tradition!
I’ve been hearing a lot of talk about Frysville Farms and what they offer, so our family decided to go check it out last weekend. We are very glad we did!
We arrived right at 6pm, which was perfect timing for the next FREE hayride to leave. We were excited for a fun wagon ride as a family, but what we didn’t expect was to go deer spotting.
I have to admit, this was pretty neat. I always loved going deer spotting with my grandparents when I was younger, but being on a wagon ride made it even more unique. The kids just loved to spot a deer and got so excited whenever we saw them!
After the wagon ride, we went to warm up in the store. The first thing you notice as you enter is a plethora of unique holiday ornaments and decorations.
If you’re like us and enjoy adding new ornaments to your tree every year, this is definitely the place for you to visit! Check out this John Deer shirt ornament!
As you enter the building you’ll also notice the hundreds of beautiful poinsettias! It’s just beautiful.
You’ll want to take the time to walk to the back of the store where you’ll find some unique poinsettia colors as well as a little fireplace area, where there is an old bell song machine. The kids were amazed that the tune we heard was coming from these small bells moving very lightly.
And talk about an impressive train display! A large portion of the left side of the store is a built-in train setup, that is really neat.
They took their time when they set this up to include multiple tracks, buildings, tunnels, bridges and I love how they incorporated succulents and poinsettias throughout the scenery, really bringing it to life.
And of course, its a place to get your Christmas tree. The folks we talked to have been going there for years to buy their Christmas tree and take their wagon ride. It was a family thing for them, and now that their kids are all grown and out of the house, the parents still come as a yearly tradition! How sweet.
If you’re interested in a fun, budget-friendly night out this holiday season, you can visit Frysville Farms at 300 Frysville Road, Ephrata.
They are open Monday-Saturday from 8am to 8pm.

Appreciate your article on Frysville Farms. This farm has been in my family for 9 generations and we work extremely hard to keep it going I really love to see others enjoy our farm as much as I do!! I served two tours in Iraq during my time in the Marine Corp and the one thing that kept me stable and secure when I got back was my family and this farm so reading this article on how you had a great experience really brings me true joy. Thank you and keep up the good work
