If you love the Long’s Park Summer Music Series you might be excited to hear that they removed the wooden playground and replaced it with this brand new playground in 2018. As much as I love wooden playgrounds, I will admit this new playground has some pretty unique features worth checking out!
Here are some photos from our recent visit to give you an idea of what you’ll find, besides the normal swings, slides and climbing areas.
We loved that it is wheelchair accessible with this nice long ramp, and had plenty of hands-on music making and nature sound exploration areas.
And don’t worry, there is plenty for the older kids too including spinning things, zip lines (are these called ziplines too? I realized I don’t know the name for them!) and large climbing towers.
