The peach season is always predicted to be a sweeter one when there is extreme heat during the summer. In the Lancaster County area, you’ll find at least six places to pick your own peaches and/or nectarines. Most places start offering picking for some varieties in mid-July, but you’ll be able to pick until late-summer well into September, maybe even October.
