Here’s a list of kid-friendly New Year’s Eve events around Lancaster County. Whether you have toddlers who you want to celebrate with at noon instead of midnight, or older kids who want to do some unique celebrating at a place like SkyZone or The Watch & Clock Museum, this list is for you!
1. The State Museum – Noon Year’s Eve
December 29 from 10am – 1pm
Young children and their families are invited to welcome the new year during the annual “Noon Year’s Eve” celebration. An opportunity for kids to enjoy their own special “ringing in the New Year.” Make a craft, snack, and dance. Take in a planetarium show. The Museum’s famous firefly and balloon drop will be in Memorial Hall at 12:00 Noon.
2. Tiny Town – Glow in the Dark New Year’s Eve Party!
December 29 from 10am – 7:30pm
This year, Tiny Town is throwing another glow in the dark dance party – complete with a countdown to the new year with a HUGE balloon drop, professional face painter and balloon artist, and delicious popcorn bar. It is THE event of the year!
Adults will enjoy it as much as the children -so grab friends that you want to party with and get your tickets in advance before we sell out. A great day of celebrating the upcoming year – without keeping the kids out until midnight!
3. Watch & Clock Museum – New Year’s Eve at Noon
December 31 from 10am – 1pm
Ring in the New Year with Father Time at the center of time. The Museum’s New Year’s Eve at Noon event on December 31st is the only local New Year’s Eve party designed specifically for children during daylight hours.
As part of the traditional celebration, the Museum will host a countdown with Father Time, complete with a balloon drop at the strike of noon. From 10 am to 1 pm, Father Time will lead guests in a dance party full of fun and swinging music.
4. Uno Pizzeria – Kid’s New Years Eve Party & Balloon Drop
December 31 from 11:30am – 8:30pm
Ring in the New Year with the kiddos at UNO’s in Exton! Join us for our annual Kids New Years Eve Party and Balloon Drop on Tuesday, December 31, 2019.
We have added a fourth seating this year in order to be able to accommodate more families for this popular event. We will be having the following seatings, (which are 1 1/2 hour in length): 11:30 am, with balloon drop at 12:45 p.m., 2 p.m, seating with a 3:15 pm balloon drop, 4:30 p.m. with a 5:45 p.m. balloon drop, and a 7 pm seating with an 8:15 pm balloon drop. For $10.99 kids will get a make your own pizza, kids drink, create your own sundae, craft, beads, blowers and hats. Plus, a ginger ale toast and balloon drop to ring in the new year! Reservations are required. *Please indicate if you will want to be seated with other parties at time of reservation as we assign seats in advance.

5. The Castle Roller Skating – New Year’s Balloon Drop
December 31 from 2pm – 5pm
Wrap up 2019 with this fun-filled family skate that features a HUGE balloon drop full of prizes! Adm: $9.00 / $33 Family Rate for 4 people. Rentals: $3.50 quads / $5 inlines (no passes/coupons can be accepted for this special event)
6. Gamut Theater – New Year’s Eve Party for Children
December 31 from 10:30am – 12pm
Join the Popcorn Hat Players for our 27th annual New Year’s Eve Party for children where we countdown to NOON instead of midnight! The party is so big it’s held at the Sunoco Performance Theater at the Whitaker Center. Tickets include admission to the show, noisemakers, party hats, and a Hawaiian lei. Enjoy this year’s show, Beauty and The Beast!
Doors open December 31st at 10:30 a.m. and the performance will begin at 11 a.m. Tickets, $15. This event sells out every year; we highly recommend you reserve tickets in advance.
7. Noon Year’s Eve Party at Eastern Lancaster County Library
