There aren’t very many wooden playgrounds in Lancaster County but Reamstown Playground is a good one worth visiting!
I don’t know about you, but for me, wooden playgrounds are reminiscent of my childhood.
There’s just something special about the way a wooden playground excites a child’s imagination.
The Reamstown playground is almost completely in the shade which makes it perfect for hot summer days. I love how the tire swings, zip lines, slides, bridges spur creativity and imagination.
The monkey bars, tire steps and dozens of passageways throughout the castle-like structures provides hours of fun for little ones.
Not to mention the wooden boats and vehicles with steering wheels, and vintage riding and rocking animals like dolphins and ducks.
In 2019, the playground installed new picnic tables that are really nice. I love using them to get some planning done while the kids play!
Where is Reamstown Playground located?
The playground is part of Reamstown Memorial Park, which is located at E Church St, Stevens, PA 17578.
Please note there are no dogs allowed in the playground.
Consider following the Reamstown Park Facebook page to stay up to date on their events and happenings.
