Did you know that you can use coupons with your Giant Peapod grocery delivery orders? One thing I absolutely LOVE about Giant Direct powered by Peapod is that you can use coupons—many different kinds of coupons in fact!
Here are 6 types of coupons you can use with your next Peapod order:
1. Newspaper / Printed Coupons
When you pick up your order, the attendant will ask you if you have any coupons. Hand them to her and she’ll apply them to your account! It takes about a day, and I always like to check the charge to my credit to be sure it went through—but it works!
2. Circular Coupons
Same thing as the above coupons—just hand your coupons from your Giant Circular (I get mine in the mail every Thursday) to the Giant worker who brings out your order and they’ll apply the coupons to your account.
3. Giant e-coupons
Within the Peapod website there is a category for Specials, and on that page you’ll find a tab for Loaded Coupons. You’ll be redirected to the Giant coupons page (make sure your Giant card is linked to your Peapod account) where you can load your coupons and then return to the Peapod page to finish your order!
TIP >> You’ll see the discount from the coupon in your cart before you checkout.
4. Peapod extra hot savings!
Peapod offers their own specials and deals, separate from the Giant food store chain. These extra hot savings change regularly. I often find they are associated with the weekly circular deals from Giant, but sometimes there are additional deals you want find in store!
TIP >> Sometimes you’ll see these when you log in to your account, or you might get some in the mail. You’ll know them because they will feature the Peapod logo.
5. Fresh Produce Coupon
Peapod offers a special incentive to encourage shoppers to buy fresh produce—if you spend $15, save $5 on Fresh Picks!
TIP >> I have not seen this particular coupon in my account recently, so it might just be for your first few orders, to get you to order fresh produce. 🙂
6. Circular Sales & Promotions
I was surprised to see that all circular sales are included in the online prices. For instance, Giant often features their bakery made strombollis as a BOGO deal. While it doesn’t show as a BOGO in Peapod, it does show up as half the normal price. That makes them about $3 each and you don’t need to buy in multiples of 2 like you would with the store BOGO deal.
Plus, you can additionally use Fetch Rewards, Ibotta, and Coinout to earn additional cash back by scanning your receipts.
