Treasure’s Markets is a newer store in Lancaster providing groceries, clothing, home decor, furniture and more at a great value. Last week I was excited to stop by their new store, especially since I had been receiving $10 off $50 coupons and was eager to see what they offer.
When you first walk in the store you will find home decor and furniture items. I was really impressed with this sections especially all the shoes and clothes. I found a full boys suit (shirt, vest, tie and pants) for just $7.95 and they were available up to size 16! That’s a great deal for older boys NEW clothing—not to mention they had matching sizes down to the little ones, which would be perfect for family photos.
The grocery section had a number of fantastic deals but as with any grocery store you should watch the prices closely. There were a few things that weren’t the best price for me, and I likely would not purchase all my groceries on a weekly basis there (however they do have an incredibly unique mission and purpose behind them that I talk more about later in this post.)
Some great deals I found were:
- maple syrup for $1.39
- organic graham crackers for $.49
- coconut oil for $3.99
- orange juice for $.50
- guava nectar for $1.39
- spices for $.99
- a 5lb bag of rice for $3.99
- pasta for $.50
- cashew butter for $1.99
- chopped hazelnuts for $1.99
Those deals alone certainly make the trip worth it if you are searching for great value!
Plus, my kids also loved the bins that had small snacks for just $.10 each. They couldn’t believe they could get a nutella snack pack for just a dime! It kept them busy while I scoped out the other items.
Please keep in mind that the store is similar to Aldi, where you provide your own bags. The cashier puts everything in your cart and then they have a nice area where you can bag your items before going outside, or use their boxes. They had dozens of different size boxes for your use at no extra cost!
How Treasure’s Market Gives Back
One of the things that drew my attention to Treasure’s Markets, was the story behind the business idea and their purpose in helping the Lancaster community by giving their proceeds to the Water Street Rescue Mission. They also partner with a like-minded organizations in order to have the biggest impact on the community.
Treasures Markets intends to distribute surplus funds from its operations through Treasures Foundation to Water Street Missions to further the nonprofit’s community-based objectives. The mission of giving back to the community is foremost for both organizations.
I also read somewhere, but I don’t remember where, that the market is a place where they can help people getting back on their feet after their struggles and learn how to hold a job and do a job well before entering the work force full time.

Where is Treasure’s Markets?
Treasure’s Markets is located in Lancaster just off Route 23, behind McDonald’s, near McCaskey High School and kind of near the Lancaster Science Factory. There is plenty of off-street parking. You can learn more about the business on their website.
